High Translucency
The new high translucency (HT) blocks are
perfect for situations where blending into
surrounding tooth structure is vital. Ideal
for inlays, onlays and veneers, HT blocks
offers superior translucency for life-like
restorations.

Low Translucency
The blocks with a low translucency (LT) are
ideally suited for the fabrication of fully
anatomical restorations or the cut-back
technique. The incisal area is built up with IPS e.max Ceram materials.

Medium Opacity
The blocks of medium opacity (MO) are
used to fabricate substructures for vital or
slightly discolored teeth. They create an
ideal base for life-like restorations.

Preparation                                                        e.max

A careful preparation is decisive for the durability and accuracy of fit of a restoration.

Therefore, design the margin carefully witth a circular shoulder or chamfer preparation
with rounded inner edges. Avoid any sharp transitions, inner angels, and feather edges.
If the restorations are seated with the adhesive cementation technique, the preparation
can be restricted to the actual defect.

Observe the necessary minimum wall thickness in order to ensure the adequate stability
of the restoration. In conjunction with IPS e.max, it is important to strictly observe the
recommended range of indications, preparation guidelines and connector widths.

Preparation - Glass ceramics
IPS e.max Press and IPS e.max CAD

In regard to IPS e.max CAD, please note:
The incisal edge of the prepared tooth should be at least 1 mm (milling tool
dimensions), in order to enable optimum milling of the incisal area during the computer-
aided manufacturing process.

Preparation - Zirconium oxide ceramics
IPS e.max ZirCAD

BruxZir

BruxZir Total Zirconia

BruxZir Total Zirconia is a full contour
zirconia restoration with no porcelain
overlay. More brawn than beauty,
BruxZir is an esthetic alternative to
posterior metal occlusal PFM and
full-cast metal restorations. Made of
solid zirconia, BruxZir is virtually
unbreakable, making it ideal for
bruxers and grinders.
